• Timbavati Conservation Levy 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2024: R575 per person per night payable in advance on invoice. ‘Free Nights’ are also obliged to pay the Conservation Levy
• Timbavati Gate Levy 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2024: TBC per vehicle per entry is applicable for any self-drive guests

Bookings

Initial requests can be held provisionally for 2 weeks, after which time they will be released back into the inventory for re-sale if not confirmed.

Year Round

• We require a 20% deposit at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
• Bookings will not be confirmed without a deposit.
• The final invoice balance for all charges is due 60 days prior to arrival.

Holiday Season (18 December 2024 – 04 January 2025)

• We require a non-refundable 20% deposit at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
• Bookings will not be confirmed without a deposit.
• The final invoice balance for all charges is due 60 days prior to arrival.
• Please note that specials do not apply during the holiday season.

Groups & Exclusive Use

• We require a 20% deposit at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
• Bookings will not be confirmed without a deposit.
• 5 months prior to arrival a further 30% is due.
• The final invoice balance for all charges is due 3 months prior to arrival.

Single Supplement:

• A 50% supplement will apply per single use on the per person sharing rate. 
• The Marula Suite will attract a 100% surcharge when sold for single occupancy.

• Third adult sharing in a Luxury Suite will pay 50% of the per person per night sharing rate.
• Not available in a Luxury Pool Suite.
• A third / fourth adult in the Marula Suite will pay the nightly per person rate.

YEAR ROUND excluding 18 December 2024 – 04 January 2025

• Over 60 days from arrival – No penalty
• Within 60 days of arrival – 50% cancellation fee
• Within 30 days of arrival – 75% cancellation fee
• Within 14 days of arrival – 100% cancellation fee

NO SHOW & EARLY DEPARTURE

• Clients who do not show will be charged for the entire length of stay
• Clients who depart prior to confirmed departure date are not entitled to any refund

ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED IN WRITING

Check in / check out

• Guests may check in anytime from 14:00, check out of suites is 11:00.
• Early check ins and late check outs are on request and subject to availability.

• The minimum age requirement at Makanyi is 14, unless you have exclusive use of the Lodge.
