If there is one type of bird that guests absolutely love to see while on safari it would have to be the hornbills. These amazing birds are monogamous (one partner usually for life) and during the breeding season the female breeds in a hole in a tree that is closed with mud, allowing just a small hole for the male to feed her. While on safari be sure to look out for the following hornbills found in the Timbavati Game Reserve. Dont forget your camera as they make for some beautiful photos!
